Detail, Nave Rear Window, St. Peter’s |
St. Peter’s Parish has been blessed with an energetic and responsible lay-person involvement. Our Rector will need to be equally energetic and willing to thrive in an environment of interaction and active participation with a creative parish leadership. We recognize a need for our Rector to be a strong administrator working collaboratively with the Vestry and laity to provide guidance and direction. Of primary importance will be the Rector’s leadership and active participation and management of St. Peter’s goals:
- Increase participation to achieve our common mission
- Manage growth to support programs and a balanced budget
- Identify and cultivate resources to expand youth programs
- Maintain our strong liturgical tradition
We envision a person with a sense of humor, a joy for life! One who has an inclination for fun and an authentic enthusiasm for reaching out and encouraging people to make use of their skills and talents; working with youth and adults on their individual faith journeys.
Our new priest will find success at St.Peter’s through personal and pastoral relationships and by relating the Gospel to the modern world.
More specifically we would like…
